Looking for funding to support your organisation?
The Hub can support community groups to find & apply for funding from climate action projects to capital funding. We recommend subscribing to newsletters of regular funders where possible. Although a little less orthodox - we also recommend having a scroll on Twitter and LinkedIn for new funds being announced!
We’re here to be your funding friends, whether that’s checking over an application for you and offering feedback or supporting to search out funds for a community land buy-out. We will be here every step of the way on hand to help.

Funding Finders

Argyll & Bute Council
Argyll & Bute Council publish a monthly funding finder which you can sign up to via newsletter. It is open to anyone from any area within Scotland. The funding finder is a PDF document with various funds broken down into categories and closing dates.

Funding Scotland
Funding Scotland is a funding finder website run by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisation. Here, you can filter funds by geographical area, activities and beneficiries. This funding finder is updated regularly and we would reccommend checking Funding Scotland first before looking at other funding finders.

Foundation Scotland
Foundation Scotland’s funding finder is a good start if you are looking for more local funding. Foundation Scotland manage many of the Windfarm Community Benefit funds across the Highlands for smaller, rural communities. If you have a Windfarm in your area it is worthwhile to check if you fall under the catchment area for some of this funding.

The Hub publishes a funding finder blog - mainly picking up funders who have key objectives to funding climate action projects within communities. This funding finder can be found on our blog and in our monthly newsletter.
Funding assistance from the Hub
We regularly run online events that are aimed at the community groups we support. One particular area we are keen to assist with is funding - as we know there can be challenges to securing funding. Below you can find recorded sessions of past funding events such as our Funding Masterclass delivered by our Hub Manager Joan Lawrie, and a Climate Action & Funding Workshop which demonstrates how to tie in threads of climate action to your project.
